Gardunha Verde Partnerships

To develop and implement the projects, Gardunha Verde works closely with a number of local and international partners:

• The Municipality of Fundão supports Gardunha Verde on an administrative and logistics level by providing local guidance and data, facilitating access to project sites and helping us meet all administrative requirements;
• The Sociedade Portuguesa para o Estudo das Aves (SPEA) is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to the conservation of birds in Portugal and a partner of Birdlife International. With its exceptional team of scientists and thousands of members, the SPEA seeks to preserve the extraordinary diversity of bird species and promote the development of ornithology;
• Pinus Verde is an association whose mission is sustainable development, reforestation and forest protection. Pinus Verde is our technical partner, responsible for all new plantations, as well as fire protection of project sites
• Agenda Gardunha 21 is a development agency within the framework of the broader Local Agenda 21 initiative, which supports our projects by identifying funding opportunities and supplying scientific data.
